Year Events
1961 Started to sell special alloys such as copper-titanium alloy(YCuT) as Alloy Division of Nippon Gakki Co., Ltd.
1966 Relocated from Hamamatsu to Iwata plant.
1981 Released wide-width material(42%Ni-Fe alloy) for photo-etching.
1987 Changed company's name from Nippon Gakki Co., Ltd. to YAMAHA CORPORATION.
Established YAMAHA-OLIN METAL CORPORATION with Olin CORPORATION(USA)
1988 Invested on Minchali Metal Ind.(Taiwan)
1990 Released Lead frame material for ultra-high pin count LSI.
1991 Separated Production and Engineering/Development departments from Electronic Metals Division of YAMAHA CORPORATION and established YAMAHA METANIX CORPORATION.
1992 Released Invar material for high-density shadow mask
1995 Invested on production increase on Copper-based material for lead frame.
1996 Obtained TPM excellent award.
1997 Obtained ISO9001 certification.
1998 Transferred electronic metal business from YAMAHA CORPORATION and became an independent but affiliated company of YAMAHA CORPORATION.
1999 Obtained ISO14001 certification.
Started operation of a new plant for Invar material for shadow mask.
2000 Started production of wide-width Invar material(1000mm) for shadow mask.
2001 10th anniversary of YAMAHA METANIX CORPORATION.
2003 Termination of the production of Invar material for shadow mask.
2007 Our Company name is changed to DOWA METANIX CO. LTD by shareholder's change.
