History

1987 Yamaha-Olin Metal Corporation was established on July 1 as a 50/50 Joint-venture between Yamaha Corporation and Olin Corporation.
1990 Alloy 194 Manufacturing Agreement was signed with Dowa Mining Co. Ltd.(Current name:Dowa Metaltech Co., Ltd.)
1995 Alloy 7025 Commercial Sales Agreement was signed with Nippon Mining & Metals Co. Ltd.
2000 A new slitting machine was installed for Olin HPA's.
2002 YCuT business was transferred from Yamaha Metanix Corporation (Current name: DOWA METANIX CO.LTD.) to Yamaha-Olin Metal Corporation on April 1.
2006 Alloy 7035 was launched into connector market.
2007 Our company name was changed into DOWA-Olin Metal Corporation.
